The legendary Skull & Snake graphic dates back to 1984. Artist Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (VCJ) developed the artwork while Mike McGill was pushing skateboarding forward with the McTwist. McGill suggested adding the snake and lightning bolts, creating a graphic that became a Powell Peralta classic.

However, this version combines that old-school heritage with modern FLIGHT construction. Powell builds FLIGHT decks using U.S. hard rock maple, high-strength fiberglass, and an epoxy-fused construction. The result is a thinner deck designed for greater strength, rebound, and longer-lasting pop.

The deck features Shape 218B with K21 concave. In addition, the 9.01″ width and 15″ wheelbase provide a stable platform for bowls, pools, transition, vert, and all-around skating.

Finally, the Red Foil Skull & Snake graphic gives this deck a standout finish. Whether you skate it or display it, this deck combines classic Powell artwork with modern performance.
