The Skull & Snake graphic dates back to 1984, when Mike McGill was developing the legendary McTwist. Artist Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (VCJ) created the graphic, while McGill suggested adding the snake and lightning bolts as a nod to his Florida roots.

This reissue uses Shape 160 with classic SP3 concave. At 10″ wide and 30.125″ long, it delivers the wide, stable feel of an original old-school Powell deck. In addition, the 16.625″ wheelbase makes it a strong choice for cruising, bowls, ramps, transition, or a retro complete.

The standout feature is the screen-printed graphic over gold foil. Powell pairs it with a dyed top veneer and hand-printed top logo. Because each dyed wood veneer has natural variations, every deck can have a slightly different appearance.
